Acai Berry Juice Review
There are a lot of supplements currently on the market that came out as the next miracle drug to help your skin, stomach, body and/or brain. Do they work? Most of them contain the antioxidants, vitamins and nutrition they advertise, however, so does an orange or a grapefruit. That is why the Acai Berry is so popular. It went on Oprah and simply told America that it was just a fruit, but had all these amazing benefits. I would much rather drink natural Acai Berry juice than suck back on some sludge made in a lab that tastes awful. I will map out some of the benefits of Acai, tell you where you can get it and what look for.
The Nutrition of the Acai Berry
The Acai berry grows in the Amazon rain forest on palm like trees. If you are lucky you’re not the one that has to bring them down from the 80ft trees. The berry’s look like the color of grapes and grow in clusters. They are similar to the size of blueberries but with more antioxidants than both blueberries and pomegranates. The Acai Berry consists of a healthy source of omega fats, fiber, and protein. Acai berries consist of 95% seeds. The skin and pulp is what is made to use Acai berry juice, the capsules and the powder. If you like minerals and that sort of thing you may want to know that Acai berries have potassium, magnesium and copper. And for energy, the Acai berry throws in a lot of amino acids, making it quite the potent little purple berry.
Acai Berry Juice
Probably one of the best ways to enjoy the Acai berry is by drinking it. Websites and certain locations offer the supplement as well as powder, but drinking Acai berry is quite tasty. In South America it is often used as an energy drink because of the high fatty acids (the good ones) and the carbohydrates. For organic energy drinks there are not many that rank higher!
Indigenous people of the Amazon have also used Acai berry juice for digestive disorders and skin conditions. But once Acai hit North America researchers and scientist have found that it does a lot more than help stomach issues and digestion. Scientists have said that Acai Berry juice can help weight loss, heart disease, allergies, cancer and diabetes. This potent little purple hasn’t been known that long, but it is now becoming more mainstream because of its substantial benefits.
Acai Berry – Pill form
If you are one of those people that just likes to drink water or avoid all things liquid then perhaps Acai in pill form is what you are looking for. There are certain levels of extract that you should look for on the bottle. Someone might be putting blueberries in a bottle and calling it Acai. The pills are a great way to get the daily dose of Acai Berry that your body will appreciate. Acai berry powder is similar to Acai berry pills, just without the capsules. You can mix the powder into other drinks, water, or to make a smoothie.
Acai Berry Products
There are a lot of products out there claiming to be Acai berry from the Amazon, or “100% pure Acai berry”. This is not always the case. There are some products that are great and some that have very few berries and don’t give you all the benefits I listed above. Acai berry juice, pills, and powder are all equally beneficial when ingested and will help your body in a multitude of ways.
