About Invisalign
Invisalign braces are an alternative to traditional metal mouth braces. It takes the same concept to straighten your teeth but conveniently molds clear aligners to your teeth to do the same job. Align Technologies ClinCheck system takes progressive snapshots of your teeth until all the aligners are created to form a series of molds to evolve you through the treatment. Invisalign isn’t for everyone, but a great alternative for adult braces and someone who want to straighten their teeth without the embarrassment.
Where can I find Invisalign?
There are from 30-40 dentists and Orthodontists who are Invisalign Providers in Charlotte. This amount makes it difficult to find, and decide on one dentist. Most offices offer free Invisalign consultations including Dr. Armstrong and Charlotte Dentistry. Look for things like complimentary whitening as well. It is a more rare case to find this, but worth asking about. Pricing can be a huge factor when deciding on Invisalign. That makes it harder to know where and who to get Invisalign from.
How much is Invisalign in Charlotte?

Invisalign in Charlotte ranges close to the national avg. from $4,500 to $7,000. If you see it for more than this it may be due to the severity of your malocclusion (crooked teeth). The cost to the dentist is based on what Invisalign charges them. Align Tech charges more, the more aligners you order. The dentist in turn must charge you more. So don’t blame the dentist right away for being high priced. It is more important to feel comfortable with a dentist and trust his abilities and expertise than to wine and dine for a good price.

My dentist has said that I am not a good candidate for invisalign. I have an open bite and an overbite, with straight teeth. He said, that invisalign may straighten them up for a few years, but then my bite would return.
I saw an orthodontist, he said that I would need the orthognathic surgery, bc I have a misaligned bottom jaw. So, my question is, do you think it may be possible for me to do the invisalign, then after I have completed my therapy..have the surgey done. I would just really love to have a nicer smile…I just cannot do braces!! Thank you.
